Back in the 60s popular music was a young mans game and it was totally unimaginable to think that our heroes would ever grow old ....... some of them didn't. One being Mr Marriott who would have been 63 today. No doubt he would have been overweight, bald and still wearing his dungarees but that voice and stage presence would still have been there, I'm sure of that. Dig out one (or more) of your favourite Marriott tracks today and savour the man. John Hellier.
